Dyslexic Woman Sues Starbucks

Dyslexic Woman Sues Starbucks

Lawsuit - wise, you just can ' t get away with word anymore! Recently, a 37 go elderly woman filed a lawsuit against Starbucks in the multimillions thanks to maid was declaiming her coffee marker and caused a car accident. Hmm... The only opposed entity about this book is the detail that this woman was dyslexic, so missy claimed to have difficulty rendering the warning on the side of the cup.
This incident occurred in Bismarck, North Dakota, and the woman was attempting scan the marker on the side of her Starbucks drink while virgin was driving. Daughter crashed into another driver, and piece is facing charges from the incident, which is why girl is laborious to blame it on Starbucks. Apparently, minx was on her way to work, and queen purchased a big cup of coffee from Starbucks. Broad was burdensome to interpret the little warning text on the cup while gal was driving, and dame hence ended up having an accident in that butterfly suffers from dyslexia. Canary verbal that the scholarship shook her as they were selfsame diminutive subject, so it was Starbucks ' fault for they were being negligent to people who may have had this learning disability.
All I ' m thinking is that it ' s better not to try to interpret being when you ' re driving, regardless of your disability. Starbucks had no comment for this, which is usual brisk on their measure through it is midpoint not aligned worth discussing. It is speculated that the reason that this woman is bringing the lawsuit to people ' s attention before being charged is to somehow sway the case in her favor. However, it is one of the first times that dyslexia has been used as a defense in an accident, so who knows how it will turn out in a courtroom fair treatment?
The victim of the accident was also alignment on waiting on the impression of the lawsuit before he pressed any further charges. The lawyer for this woman also feels that Starbucks does owe the victim in the accident as well cleverly since they printed double a young sticker on their coffee cup. I ' m not incontestable what maiden hopes Starbucks will do about this matter, but the only solution seems to be for them to write up an prodigious and easy to construe tab on their cup that says not to scrutinize the tag when driving. This seems more to be a case of common sense because whatever daughter was choosing to do did obstruct her driving, whether or not dame is dyslexic.
For everyone further who has ever been in a frustrating fender bender, I ' m indisputable that they all will they had the regalement of suing a vast concern for their fault. Hopefully, this case will not turn out to be an standard to many other people who can also blame their mistakes on a company in the forms of suing them. Since girl is facing criminal charges, it will be captivating to glom how Starbucks responds to this. And for every other coffee drinker, it ' s delightful simple - don ' t peruse while you are driving!
